BACK GROUND:
Alliance Vocational school was formed in 2006. The vocational school runs ministry of education and sports, Uganda National examination Board (UNEB) and Uganda Business Technical Examination Board (UBTEB) certified courses. It is also acredited by National council for higher education.
Alliance vocational school is located in serene environment that provides a suitable physical and social setting for both class room, practical academic and personal fulfillment for all its staff and students pursuing vocational courses.
Our working philosophy “forward ever” enshrines a commitment to fostering success at all costs obliging AVS to stop at nothing to ensure the best conditions to guarantee the best training outcomes from our faculty and our students. For that matter, all faculty and students should expect to benefit wholesomely from these virtues in an enabling environment from which to excel.
AVS KEY OBJECTIVES:
Alliance vocational school was established with the following objectives:
1. To provide quality education to students of Uganda in practical skills and values
2. To provide students with opportunity of putting into practice the theoretic ideas and skills obtained in lecture rooms.
3. To expose students to the dynamics of real work situations in the Ugandan context
4. To provide employment to qualified and trained professionals thus alleviating the problem of un employment
5. To equip children who may have dropped from school at all levels with skills for future lives
6.To enable the surrounding community get ready market for their produce especially food stuffs.
